Update: I’ve fixed all the spelling errors here precipitated by the strange technology I was using to creat my post. The first pictures should go up this morning!
Ivan Joseph the First of Ashburn, terror of heretics and defender of the faith. (No birth certificate yet but this is his working title, so go with it.)
He is 7 pounds, 3 ounces in weight, at a height of 20 inches. He was born at 12:04 PM, Eastern Daylight Time. He chose to come into this world without the aid of a physician, and his father was forced to run down the hall to get help for the poor nurse who was in the room when his head emerged before anyone expected it.
I am writing this from the hospital room on some kind of weird WebTV-esque device that is very limiting. I also can’t see very well, because I’m working with about size 12 font on a TV that’s ten feet away and perched on top of a cabinet.
Thank you for all of your prayers and congratulations. All fruit baskets, precious balms and donations of gold or large sums of cash can be sent directly to our hospital room.
That’s all for now. Pictures when I get a chance to upl0ad them. He looks just like his sister did a little over a year ago!
Congratulations on the newest blessing!
Congratulations on the heir!
Congratulations! Wow, I feel old.
Congratulations! And to your son, born bearing the future.
Congrats!
