Today is the day.
I’ve toyed with the idea for years, but I’ve also resisted it. For a couple years running, I decided we needed to give up TV for Lent. Those were good Lents. That was the beginning of the end of TV in our home.
We’ve had certain addictions, to be sure. Lost is foremost. Then [...]

Theology and 50-Cent Words

From Hilary

Now he’s learning that it’s much easier to deliver pizzas in 30 [...]
The University Question

The question of whether it benefits a Catholic to attend university has come up in the past amongst traditional bloggers, with varied responses.
Some believe that a Catholic should avoid university altogether. In Hilary’s steps toward restoration, cited here by Jeff Culbreath, we see that it’s high on the list:

Those of you who were involved in the conversation I had about homeschooling at the old site know that I’ve struggled with the issue of what’s best for the kids and what’s best for my wife.
Now, with baby #2 coming in just under two months and Kiana halfway through fourth grade in public school [...]
